    Robert Downey Jr’s performance is amazing in this film. His expressions, gestures, and mannerisms are spot on with those of the man himself, Charlie Chaplin. As a fan of both Chaplin and Downey, i can happily say this film shows the amazing background of Chaplin’s journey to becoming an actor; all while showing RDJ’s tremendous talent and devotion to perfecting the movements of Charles Chaplin.

    Robert Downey Jr. does a fantastic job playing the great Charlie Chaplin. He almost looks like him when he is playing the Tramp. Chaplin did have a depressing life, despite being a talented actor. He struggled with many problems and yet he still wanted to make people laugh. Robert Downey Jr. brings Chaplin's life in an interesting way. Though the movie can drag on a bit but once you get past that It is a interesting film. Give it a try.

    Really great movie, Sir Richard Attenborough did masterful direction and Robert Downey Jr. was excellent as he always is. It is very cool to see what Chaplin and his life may have been like. I'm sure it's the closest we'll ever come to seeing it anyway. Must have film.

    The movie was great, a good story beyond the nudity scenes that were a little uncomfortable, but now i really know why robert downey jr. Is considered a great actor.

    I rented this movie in hopes for an interesting and true story. But instead my family and I couldn't watch it because of the nudity!
