Description

The first season of Con Man introduces Wray Nerely (Alan Tudyk), a cult science fiction actor who is stuck in a rut and feels trapped by the pigeonhole that Spectrum, his most popular project to date, has put him in. As he navigates the world of fan conventions and all of the surreal experiences that come along with them, Wray tries to land a serious role that will win him the respect he so desperately craves. On one end of the spectrum is a possible Clint Eastwood western. On the other end of the spectrum is, well, Spectrum the movie, much to Wray's dismay.

    Has anyone noticed that this series is poking fun at the fans who helped pay to have it filmed? It is insulting to the audience that have followed these actors. It is vulgar. I don't see why anyone would find this either entertaining or worth the money they spent to group fund it. We bought 10.00 worth, and would like a refund. The perverted agent (female) is disgusting. The entire show, so far, is offensive. We only kept watching a few of the episodes, in hopes it would get better. It didn't. It only got worse. The actor says something about sci-fi fans being interested in the future - yet obsessed with the past. Maybe that's because the past - challenges our intellect. This program certainly does not.

    Hilarious in an off beat way. Constantly poking fun at SciFi and Firefly. Slapstick fun with just enough material you have to think about a bit. Cameos from many of the crew..and Joss! Irrealavant fun. I highly recommned it.
